Emma

Emma has been hanging out at Vertex since show was sprung from the pound in November, 1995. Emma prefers playing in the rubber to climbing, but she is responsible for a cat making the first 5.18 ascent in history. When a kitten wandered into the gym Emma chased it up the lead cave using only texture for claw holds. The feline literally clawing it's way up the overhanging wall and out of the reach of gnashing teeth. Nice doggy.
