Kirsten on John Muir Trail, Yosemite scouting out summer climbs of Tuolumne Meadows

Kirsten Sequoia has the distinction of being the only Vertex staffer to have Earth First! credentials on her resume, with "big wall" experience coming in the form of tree sitting to protest clear cutting in Oregon and Washington's national forests. Kirsten has been climbing for several years, and is the head of Vertex's After School Climbing youth programs and co-director of Camp Vertical.
